Wisdom Seeking…

Wisdom Seeking…

All too often we doubt our self, our intuition, our own internal wisdom. We tend to think someone else will have the answers – and seek advice from friends, family, experts or gurus. It’s so easy to just assume that we don’t know the next step or the right answer. But we do. I’m not saying we shouldn’t trust others or not seek them out, but often we have the answer within us.

I’ve found that my real wisdom often, comes from deep inside. It’s a mix of my experiences and knowledge that I’ve gained throughout my life. It’s hasn’t  always been  easy to trust it – in fact, it is much easier to look for answers outside of ourselves.

Often times that is simply so that we have someone else or something else to blame if things do not go right.

When I need to know an answer or determine a direction – when I am unsure of my next step – I find a quiet space and simply sit with the idea or question.  I let it roll around in my mind.  I often, meditate, and journal about it.  When  the answer comes, sometimes I like it and sometimes I don’t.  I have learned to trust it, because it’s my answer.

I hope these pages serve as a reminder that many answers are found within you – it’s time to trust your own wisdom!

From my Wildly Passionate Creative Soul to yours, in peace.

"…but often we have the answer within us." Indeed. Most often!
In my intuitive work, I consistently recognize that folks don't come to me to learn something they Don't Know, they come for *validation* of something they already Know (be it conscious, subconscious or unconscious).

    Beautiful post.

    A lovely reflection of you!

Happy New Year Rose! It’s wonderful that you stopped by! I continually find it amazing that wisdom and my shining truth is right there, for me to access; I just have to be still and seek it! Thank you for your comment.

As always, I love your pages! And I run into this problem in myself a lot. It's hard to trust our own inner voices because we're trained to listen to "authority figures" from childhood on. Learning to listen to and trust ourselves is a huge step forward, but it's a tough one.

Kim, we’ve shared this life’s experience! It takes awhile to trust after years of ignoring the foundation of yourself, but it opens up your true self, once you do!

Wise words from a wise woman Indigene!
I learned the hard way to listen to my intuition. The more I trusted that still quit inner voice the stronger it became. But that intuition comes in many forms, dreams are an important source for me as long as I can remember them. If I write them down in my journal, the more likely I am to remember the next dream. Intuition I think is a skill to develop but we have to practice it to improve it, that's what I've found.

Blessing to you dear friend <3

Thanks Catherine! It took me awhile to trust my intuition,so I learned from experience, how valuable intuition is. You’re amazing!

We are always wiser than we think we are. Thanks for sharing your insight!
