Time – IF

February 8, 2009

“Time is running …”

I love Bears, they are my favorite wild animal, especially polar bears. Global warming has put these magnificent wild creatures in danger. So my Illustration Friday piece this week based on the word, “Time” is a tribute to these creatures. Human beings are stewards of the earth, please, let’s try to act like it.

For more information on endangered species like polar bears, visit:

Peace to you and be good to the Earth, it has been very good to us.

Previous: Award Time…Yeah!
Next: Joy In Flying Colors!

Thank you Indigene! Hasn’t anybody from WWF seen this yet? It makes a good awareness campaign for endangered species. I also like how you included the foot prints on the clock.:)

Great layout on the clock…I like the effect of the paw prints…and nice symbolism as a whole on the item…I’m also not sure how I missed your ‘resolve’ post…(I think I was on a sabbatical of the mind) but I really like the character design and rendering on that one!!!

At this time, acutely, these magnificent creatures are at risk and already suffering from the effects of global warming and habitat destruction. Thank you for reminding us to bring these beautiful creatures into our thoughts as we take action to protect our planet.

1:40… i truly hope we have that much time left… some would say that i am a pessimist… a realist is more like it… and i think the time for large animals on this earth is almost over… a hundred years from now i don’t think there will be any animals larger than man left in the wild… and that hundred years is probably very generous… i pray that i am wrong…

as for bears… i think that… given enough time… they would be the next of God’s creatures to evolve… as the great apes did… bears are beautifulæ amazing… powerful creatures… like your work…
