Temporary Blog Hibernation

October 6, 2011

I’ve been in hibernation, as far as my blog is concerned. I will remedy that immediately!

I try to blog weekly, but I’ve been working very hard on some left brain activities, like updating my office systems, reorganizing my files (yes, again) and adding more art to my inventory!

I’m also preparing for a Holiday Studio Tour, releasing a new product line, working on my newsletter to my collectors, creating a new painting series and attending some workshops!

So that’s what I’ve been up to, instead of blogging, I’ve hardly had time to think!

I need to get a lot done before the winter blahs and then my bear-like tendencies will be in full effect, especially when it snows, and I’ll be hibernating for sure! Β Are you hibernating or burning energy? Let me know. Β Peace to you and yours.

I wish I could take a snooze on dark, indoor winter days, but seriously I have no time to do this. So 'hibernating' is for mummy-bears, not for me. Beside, who like to miss Christmas? Or looking at the starts on a cold winter night? πŸ™‚
    Glad you are back.

Paula, I'm absolutely a Mum Bear, I still see the stars from my den and for X-mas…who says the bears are totally asleep in that den! πŸ™‚ Thanks for commenting!

Sounds like you have been very busy. I think I have been looking at too many blogs and not been doing enough work. I don't mind snow for a short time, but any longer then I want to hibernate.

Hello there my dear good friend Indigene,

We had a precursor of Winter here in the Maritimes and well most of us went into deep denial that there was actually snow coming down from the sky! The good news is we are going to have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with temperatures getting up to the 20's, that's Celsius in Canadian speak. Don't ask me to translate most Canadians are in denial about that too! But that's Summer weather!

Anyway, I know it's hard to get balance between art and logistical issues, but first things first I always say, and we all have to figure that out for ourselves, whatever that is.

I am soon going to be up to the armpits with school work but God help me I am trying to keep ahead of it all! The fourth year students we are off to NYC The Big Apple in November. This will be my second trip, but it was many moons ago when I first went. I am very excited about going again and this time am trying to get an agenda together figuring out just where I want to go. We will be staying in Chelsy close to the "art action".

I just wanted to stop by and say hello. Keep the Faith sister ( I know you will)!

    Blessings, Catherine
