A “creative block” is the inability to access one’s flowing stream of inspiration and creativity. What was once an overflowing well of ideas may now feel like an endless drought. It can last for days, months, or even years at a time.
My creative blocks allowed for small little bits of time where I felt creative. This is what came out of those bouts of creativity during my blocked time! I call this piece “You Already Know” it’s when the culmination of your experience and the wisdom you’ve learned meets together, giving you the intuition to know. I created this piece as a reminder, of what you already know.
This is a mixed media piece, on a 4″ x 4″ wood block. The canvas is layered with acrylic paint, distress ink, fabric, key and charm; pendant with quote and resin, photos and handmade paper, (piece is varnished for protection, signed and dated on the back.)
