All of the details...
A “creative block” is the inability to access one’s flowing stream of inspiration and creativity. What was once an overflowing well of ideas may now feel like an endless drought. It can last for days, months, or even years at a time.
My creative blocks allowed for small little bits of time where I felt creative. This is what came out of those bouts of creativity during my blocked time! I call this piece “Transform” it is the 5th piece created in the Creative Block Series. This experience has been transforming and it continues to lead me into interesting journeys into creativity!
This is a mixed media piece, on a 4″ x 4″ canvas. The canvas is layers with handmade and vintage papers, acrylic paint, burlap, wood, metal stencils, vintage book spine, crackle, jute string, wood key button, watch face, seed shells and resin; (piece is varnished for protection, signed and dated on the back.)
