Snow Leopards are one of the many animals, I can enjoy watching, the zoo is the only place, I can see them live and up close. As I watched, Maya, the snow leopard, I was mesmerized by her spirit! She is now a part of my “Animal Totem” Series. Animal Totem characteristics for Snow Leopards are: Sensitivity, Agility, Strength and are full of Mystery.
There are many cultures that have myths and legends where animals are the main characters or play an important role in teaching important life lessons.
This is an 8″ x 10″ (on 8.5 x 11 inch paper) print of my original painting. This print is matted and ready to be framed. The original piece is a 24″ x 18″ mixed media painting on rag cotton illustration board.
