This is a mixed media piece on a 4″ x 4″ wood block. The pieces in the Love Yourself Series were created from the inspiration taken from the quote: “If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.” – Eckhart Tolle
With so much emphasis placed on couples and having a significant other, I wanted to create art with an emphasis on love…loving yourself…loving your life. You don’t need a special day to celebrate you.
The wood is layered with handmade and vintage papers, acrylic paint, metal heart with wings, faux jewel, words, paper flowers, photo, resin. This piece is varnished for protection, signed and dated on the back.
Note: Copyright does NOT appear on the piece. The tiny white particles that appear on the painting are reflections of the high gloss shine and are not on the painting.
