A “creative block” is the inability to access one’s flowing stream of inspiration and creativity. What was once an overflowing well of ideas may now feel like an endless drought. It can last for days, months, or even years at a time.
My creative blocks allowed for small little bits of time where I felt creative. This is what came out of those bouts of creativity during my blocked time! The piece is based on a dream and a quote; but what story does it tell you?
The wood is layered with handmade and vintage papers, acrylic paint, mica, metal ring, bird charm, plastic flowers, lace, greek Scrapple game piece, ink, illustrated picture and quote (piece is varnished for protection, signed and dated on the back.)
