Enough-IF

July 19, 2008

There’s an expression that says, “a picture is worth a thousand words.“

That’s what my image is trying to convey.

Enough, already!

May you have the peace and strength to do all that you want to do. Happy week!

When you stop and think about it, it is a heavy burden to bear – just like your illustration shows. Thanks for your comment.

Great work and so true, good illustration is all about what the image can suggest to the viewer, your use of the ‘weight of the world’ is so appropriate here.

wow, solemn and strong image. I like how you’ve kept the background clean- it really emphasizes the figure and globe.

Great take on the topic Indigene! Thought provoking indeed. And in the face of all those troubles, I would say all we need is Love.

I got that from some rock band in the ’60s. The Beagles, or something like that.

tsk yeah enough already.. the world is starting to crumble and i just cant imagine how it would be like 20 years from now. gee even 10 years from now is unpredictable!

some people tend to run away from it all.. coz there is nothing much one can do.. thats what you call “life”..

This is different to your usual style, but very graphic and effective and it evokes a strong response in people. It is sad too.

The question is, how much can we make a difference? How much or how little is enough ? And where do we start ? Do all great things start within ? Sorry, didn’t want to be so philosophical.
Powerful topic, many questions! [Thanks for visiting my blog!]

what you wrote as a comment to my if contribution i could just as well repeat for yours – i guess yours shows the more ecological side of “enough”? it’s different from what i have seen from you and i must say i like the intensity …
