Collectors’ Delight

The people who buy my art, delight me in so many ways! I have wonderful conversations with them, we share heartfelt stories and we are both passionate about my art.

Here are a few of those amazing individuals who bought my art and sent me pictures, to show me their delight and the places where “our” art hangs.

Indigene Art Forms Collectors Delight 01My painting is the one in the center. This collector has to hang his paintings high, since he has an adventurous cat! πŸ™‚

The painting, “Elephant Dreams” was a commissioned mixed-media piece, that included antique buttons, gold leaf and sculptured mini faces. You can read about it on my blog post ofΒ https://indigeneart.com/elephant-dreams/

Indigene Art Forms Collectors Delight 02This painting, “Hope’s Snow” was commissioned for a beautiful young lady who races dogs in Russia. This was my first painting to Russia. You can read about the making of the painting here: https://indigeneart.com/50-and-growing-pains/

If you’d like to read about the painting in Russia, you can visit her mother’s blog here (it’s in Russian; how cool is that? )

Indigene Art Forms Collectors Delight 03This painting, “Flower Power” Β is a part of my collector’s sacred space. Art moves everyone in different ways and inspires one to invest in their own creativity.

I also offer, to hang art purchased from me, but as you can see I enjoy the collectors who do their own thing, too!

Art does move you…you just need to allow it to.

Please Note: All photos are copyright by the art’s owners.

I love that you shared this perspective of your work. It makes me think about the piece I want and still want. I'll be in touch, but back to you and your collectors. You can see how much they love an dhonor the work and your gift. I think this is a very unique and insightful approach for sharing your work. Thank you.

Thanks Lynda! It also gives others ideas about what to do with art work they purchase. You don't have to match the art with the decor, the art stands on its own. πŸ™‚ Thanks for stopping by, dear one! πŸ™‚

I wish I had pictures of my art hanging in people's homes. This is fun to see, and maybe something more? It's a reminder that we make things for other people, not just for our need to make it πŸ™‚ Your work looks beautiful in its new homes.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! As inspiring as they are on your blog, they are even more majestic on the wall. Wow, I totally love that elephant painting! And it's nice to see the lucky lady who got the beautiful dog painting. Your pieces bring so much great energy into a room!

Have a wonderful and creative summer! See you soon!
