A Different Kind of Beginning

May 8, 2011

I sit today, at the hospital with my Mum, spending time with her. I sit as if, I am awaiting for the beginning of a concerto, I know it will be bring me to tears, but it will also give me a sense of peace and beauty.  My mother’s faith is great, as she always says, “everything  begins, with the true maestro.”

It is a lovely painting; I see the audience and the piano waiting for its maestro.
Wishing you and your mum all the best; blessings to your mum and you.

I just read the beautiful post below about what your mother said: to spend Mother's Day honoring all the women in your life who gave you nurturance. She sounds like a very loving and wise and gentle woman, a most wonderful mother to be celebrated every day. Your paintings are moving and powerful. I really love this piano with its bold colors and strong lines. I think it must be one of my all-time favorites by you! The patterns in the background are energetic and wonderful. Bless you, bless your mother. I pray for the best for both of you. I hope you had a love-filled Mother's Day.

    xoxo
