I’ve been preparing my Studio Nookery for the 100 Art works Challenge which starts today. I’m excited about this because I will work on 8″x 8″ wood panels, utilizing mixed media; which will include fabrics and metal with faces. This is a way to hold me accountable for creating 100 pieces of art in this experimental way. I’m hoping to build one idea on another to create something unique and push my artistic boundaries and comfort zone. There is no deadline to complete this project, but it is up to me to keep working and complete it.
So here are some photos from the Nookery.
I’ll have lots of fun, and absolutely some challenges as I stretch myself. I will be sharing my work here. I hope you join me as I experiment, create and share these new works!
From my wildly passionate creative soul to yours in peace.

Dear friend, this is so exciting! 100…wow! I will enjoy seeing all the fruits of your labor. I also have a bag of steampunk metal pieces you can have. They are left from a project of mine 🙂

Thanks so much, Zurn! You are always encouraging; I’m loving my sewing machine. I would love your steam punk items; you know I can never have enough mixed media items.
